We've probably met before.
FLOYT (formerly SilverTours) is a new entity, created from three well-loved European brands: Billiger Mietwagen, CamperDays and CARIGAMI. From 2003 to the present day and beyond, our mission has been to free mobility from complexity. Here's our story.
2024
FLOYT.com is entering the Netherlands as a new market, offering the best price comparison to our Dutch users.
2023
CamperDays has grown and is now an independent company, separate from FLOYT. CamperDays is currently serving users in over 10 countries.
2022
FLOYT Mobility GmbH brings all its brands together to create FLOYT.com, with the aim to become Europe's number one marketplace for car ownership alternatives.
2019
We open a new office and Tech Hub in Alicante, Spain, and Launch of CamperDays.fr
2015
LocationDeVoiture.fr is rebranded as CARIGAMI, and founder Christian Mahnke waves goodbye to the company.
2013
Silvertours GmbH is acquired by ProSieben Sat 1 Media Group and launches CamperDays, our camper website for organising campervan tours worldwide. SilverTours is now 120-strong.
2008
The French version of Billiger-Mietwagen.de launches – LocationDeVoiture.fr.
2004
Billiger-Mietwagen.de continues to grow, opening a new office in Cologne.
